Rideau Canal National Historic Site
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF KILMARNOCK SWING BRIDGE

SMITHS FALLS, ONTARIO, June 14, 2021 – Parks Canada Agency advises that the Kilmarnock swing bridge will be closed to road traffic between June 14th and June 25th, to complete important preventative maintenance to ensure the bridge remains in good working order.
Boat traffic will not be impeded by this closure.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to plan their routes accordingly.
