Stroll and notice the successful architectural mix that borrows from the French tradition - sloping roof, dormers, firewalls, windows with two shutters and back-to-back rooms – as well as English tradition with the entrance door built at one end of the façade. Be sure to look for the surprising imitation stone wood siding, based on the then-fashionable neo-classical style.
