Obadjiwan–Fort Témiscamingue National Historic Site

The Obadjiwan–Fort Témiscamingue National Historic Site is temporarily closed to the general public for the season. The site welcomes school groups for guided tours in June and October. See details.

The Obadjiwan-Fort Témiscamingue National Historic Site, a former trading post, features several historical characters: the Algonquins fur traders, the voyageurs in moccasins and red tuques in bark canoes, and more. Learn about their daily lives!

Scenic path

Stroll through the 14 outdoor stations, which feature life-like scenes of characters such as a carpenter in action or a blacksmith carving tools.

Exposed memory

Come and see the Obadjiwan exhibition which recounts the fort's history and step out onto the terrace to contemplate The Memory of Time work created by two talented artists.
