Saint-Ours Canal National Historic Site
From Montreal, the Trans-Canada highway leads to Saint-Hilaire. Follow the signs for Route 133 to the lock. Alternatively, take the Richelieu West Road, Route 233, and cross the river using one of three cable ferries. The superintendent's house, the fish ladder and Darvard Island await you.

Directions
The Saint-Ours Canal runs along Route 133 North.
From Montreal:
Take Highway 10, Richelieu Exit. Take Chemin des Patriotes (Route 133) North towards Sorel.
or
take Highway 20, Exit Mont Saint-Hilaire and follow the signs.
Hours
The national historic site is open every day of the year from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Victoria Day to Thanksgiving (mid-May to mid-October).
