The Kidney Spring
Where: The outdoor thermal spring known as "Kidney Spring", and the enclosure surrounding it, located adjacent to Mountain Avenue and across from the road from the Rimrock Hotel.
Why: The Banff Springs Snail lives in the Kidney Springs. The snail is an endangered species that only exists in Banff National Park. Any human activity could endanger the survival of this species.
