The Field Unit Superintendent of Waterton Lakes National Park of Canada hereby designates travel within Waterton Lakes National Park of Canada as a designated activity requiring authorization in the form of a Park Pass, pursuant to Section 7.1(2) of the National Parks General Regulations.

A Park Pass is required by all persons travelling within Waterton Lakes National Park of Canada except where a person:
a) is passing through the park along Highway 5, or Highway 6 without stopping
b) stops in the case of a medical or other emergency, or
c) is an employee of a federal or provincial agency on official business
