PROHIBITED ACTIVITY:

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the following activities are hereby PROHIBITED, by order of the Parks Canada Superintendent of the Mainland Nova Scotia Field Unit.

It is prohibited to be within 20m of horses.

WHERE:

Sable Island National Park Reserve of Canada.

WHY:

To protect wildlife and the environment and to ensure visitor safety.

NOTE:

It is an offence under the Canada National Parks Act to contravene this prohibition. Violators may be charged.
