Thousand Islands National Park's mainland trails, visitor centre, and administration office are located on the Thousand Islands Parkway between Brockville and Gananoque, Ontario. The Thousand Islands Parkway is accessible from Highway 401 exits 647 to 685 and from the United States via the Thousand Islands International Bridge.

Parking fees may apply.  The Thousand Islands Water Trail provides maps for 9 full-day and half-day routes that connect for the option of a longer trip. These maps identify access points, trip times and lengths, potential hazards, and points of natural and cultural interest. They are not replacements for accurate nautical charts. Nautical charts may be purchased at the Mallorytown Landing Visitor Centre or from private outlets listed on the Canadian Hydrographic Service Website.

Kingston Islands: Cedar, Milton 
Closest access point is the Cataraqui Canoe Club’s public boat launch. Parking fees apply.

Admiralty Islands: Mermaid, Aubrey, McDonald, Beau Rivage, Thwartway
Closest access point is the Gananoque Municipal Marina, site of 1000 Islands Kayaking Company. Parking is available through Gananoque Municipal Marina, parking fees apply.

Lake Fleet Islands: Camelot, Endymion
Closest access points are the Gananoque Municipal Marina, site of 1000 Islands Kayaking Company, (parking is available through Gananoque Municipal Marina, parking fees apply), and Misty Isles Lodge. (parking is available through Misty Isles Lodge, parking fees apply).

Navy Islands: Gordon, Mulcaster
Closest access point is Misty Isles Lodge. Parking is available through Misty Isles Lodge, parking fees apply.

Grenadier Island
Closest access point is Mallorytown Landing, the mainland base of Thousand Islands National Park. Parking fees apply.

Thousand Islands Bridge, Georgina Island, Constance Island, and Hill Island
Paddling in this area is recommended for advanced paddlers only. The river bottlenecks here, generating strong and unpredictable currents as well as increased boat traffic. Closest access points are the public boat launch in Ivy Lea and the Ivy Lea provincial campground. Parking fees apply.

There are also a number of commercial marinas in the Thousand Islands corridor. Parking fees may apply. 

The St. Lawrence River is renowned for its dangerous shoals; accurate nautical charts are essential for boating safety. Nautical charts may be purchased at the Mallorytown Landing Visitor Centre or from private outlets listed on the Canadian Hydrographic Service Website.
