Playgrounds

Located on the beach, along the Centennial Hike and Bike Trail, near the pavilion, the Northwest Beach Play area includes a natural climbing structure, slide and sand hill. Great for families while visiting the beach or for a stop along the way during your Centennial Trail adventure. Ample parking is available in the Norwest Beach parking lot. The play area is available to all visitors, even when the pavilion is rented. 

Discover Point Pelee’s new First Nation-themed, wood and rope climbing structure featuring natural and cultural elements relevant to the Caldwell First Nation. Highlights include a carved canoe, a black bear (once native to the park) and a turtle representing “Turtle Island” a First Nation metaphor for North America. There are also animal carvings representing the 7 Teachings, the guiding principles of the Caldwell and other First Nations - Love, Respect, Courage, Honesty, Wisdom, Humility and Truth.

Parking is available onsite at Madbin Jina or across the street at DeLauier House and Trail. Follow signs across the road to Madbin Jina. The Playground is also accessible via Centennial Hike and Bike Trail.
