Picnicking
Pukaskwa National Park
Pukaskwa's day use area, by the visitor centre, is a nice place to have lunch with the family beside the sparkling waters of Hattie Cove. This area is open and sunny and has several picnic tables. While in the area, explore the fire circle and Anishinaabe camp spaces. The washroom facilities are also conveniently nearby. Stroll onto the shoreline or hike the Southern Headland Trail for a nice view of the cove!
This campground has a BARE Campsite program in place. A special effort is being made by both park staff and campers to ensure that wildlife attractants are never left unattended at any sites in this campground. The BARE Campsite program is in place for your safety, and to help keep the wildlife in our national parks alive and wild.
