Eagle Butte Trail

A great trail to view wildflowers and soaring birds of prey. May to early July is peak season for flower blooms. Well-graded and surfaced, it climbs gently around Eagle Butte. Suitable for all levels. Enjoy the interpretive panels describing prairie vegetation, human history and intriguing geology. For something more challenging, continue to 70 Mile Butte Trail.
