Parks Day

Location: Terra Nova National Park, Glovertown

Head to the Visitor Center and pick up a hiking trail passport and enter to win a Parks Day prize pack featuring a headlamp, a park mug, and a backpack.

A Green Gables Christmas

Location: Green Gables Heritage Place, Cavendish

Come to Green Gables House for a holiday visit with Anne complete with seasonal décor, cookie decorating, trails, music and more, including activities in honour of L.M. Montgomery’s 150th birthday.

Learn-to winter and cross-country ski

Location: Chambly Canal National Historic Site, Chambly

Sign up the kids for a beginner's cross-country skiing workshop. Equipment rentals included at no extra cost. While you're at it, borrow snowshoes, a fat bike or cross-country skis!

Dates: Every weekend from January 11 to February 23, 2025
Times: 4-6 years (9:15 am, 12:15 pm and 3:15 pm), 7-9 years (10:15 am and 1:15 pm), 10-12 years (11:15 am and 2:15 pm)

Learn-to winter and cross-country ski

Location: Lachine Canal National Historic Site, Montréal

Join us for spring break! On the program: entertainment, snowshoe, fat bike, or cross-country ski rentals, and an introductory cross-country skiing workshop for children.

Introduce your youngsters aged 17 and under to the basics of this magnificent sport in the park's panoramic setting. The activity is organised by Club Skimau, and equipment can be borrowed.

Harvest your own Christmas tree and help maintain the Waskesiu community fuel break. Bring your handsaw and make sure to grab your park pass and free tree harvest permit from the Visitor Center.
