2023-08-16 Movement of personnel within the PCX Community
Colleagues,
I am pleased to share with you changes within the PCX community effective August 14, 2023:
Deployment of Adriana Bacheschi, Director, National Parks Establishment, Protected Areas Establishment and Conservation Directorate
With an academic background in anthropology and ecological education, Adriana has worked for the last 35 years in the area of tourism, culture, and environment for various levels of government, non-profit organizations and private businesses.
Adriana started her career at Parks Canada in 2006, in the Western Arctic Field Unit, where she worked in many roles. In 2013, Adriana moved with her family to Saskatchewan where she became the Visitor Experience Manager for Batoche and Motherwell Homestead National Historic Sites.
Over the years, she held the position of National Historic Sites Manager, Federal Infrastructure Project Manager and External Relations Manager before becoming Field Unit Superintendent, Saskatchewan South in 2019. Adriana has been on assignment in the role of Director, National Parks Establishment since January 2022.
Deployment of Patricia Fornarolo, Field Unit Superintendent, Saskatchewan South, Operations Directorate
Patricia began her career in the federal public service in 1995 as a programmer and over the years, she worked in Information Management (IM), Technical Inspection (IT), strategic planning and performance management.
She joined Parks Canada in 2021 to work in partnership with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) to move forward the analysis and plans for transformation of the organization’s Office of the Chief Information Officer. She also supported the Accrual Budgeting Project, Resource Review, Return to Office, and the Long-term Asset Sustainability submission. Patricia has been on assignment in the role of Field Unit Superintendent, Saskatchewan South since February 2023.
Patricia holds a Bachelor of Science with Major in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa.
