Recruitment: Uniform Testers/Champions
Hello to all Parks Canada team members,
Following the meaningful feedback provided by staff to the National Uniform Program (NUP) during the 2022 Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus) research, our team is now recruiting new uniform testers and champions!
We are looking for staff from a diversity of regions, ages, job functions, work environments, genders, ethnicities, minority groups, body types, abilities, and more to share insights that will help ensure the uniform program is inclusive and accessible to all.
Uniform testers will help improve new uniform items in development. This may include:
*The Uniform Program is only able to ship uniforms to official Parks Canada locations. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship testing pieces to home addresses. The National Uniform Team will select a sample of individuals to test new items based on the specific insights identified in their registration form relevant to the new development, and their availability during the testing period. |
Uniform champions will help ensure that information is flowing efficiently both ways between staff working in the field and the National Uniform Program Team. This may include:
|
How to sign up?
The deadline to sign up is May 12th, 2023.
IMPORTANT - Information collected in this form is intended to help increase diverse participation from across all Parks Canada team members so that issues pertaining to the uniform program are addressed. Information will not be used for any other purpose, it will not be shared with any other team, access will be restricted, and it will be destroyed once we conduct the next callout for testers.
Email requirements
Due to operational and time limitations, both Testers and Champions must have regular access to their Parks Canada email in order to participate. Our goal is to use the network of champions to help facilitate communications between frontline staff and the Uniform Team.
However, if a team member does not have regular access to email, but has comments or concerns, they may always ask their champion or supervisor to contact us at uniforme-uniform@pc.gc.ca. We can then schedule a phone or Teams call to meet with the person directly.
Questions?
Contact us! We’re always happy to answer any question, comment, or concern.
Thank you for helping us continue to improve the uniform program!
