New Public Service Dental Care Plan

Good day,

The new Public Service Dental Care Plan (PSDCP) administration contract awarded to Canada Life will take effect on November 1, 2024.

The new contract with Canada Life requires mandatory positive enrolment. You may have already completed positive enrolment for the Public Service Health Care Plan, however, benefit plans under the Government of Canada are separate and governed by different rules.

To facilitate the members' experience, Canada Life completed positive enrolment for as many PSDCP members as possible over the summer. If you are a current member of the PSDCP or a new public service employee and have not received a confirmation notice from Canada Life to date, this means that Canada Life has not been able to complete positive enrolment on your behalf. You will therefore have to complete positive enrolment yourself.

How to complete positive enrolment

You will need your certificate number to complete this exercise. This can be obtained by visiting the “Benefits” tab of MyGCPay or by contacting the Client Contact Centre.

To avoid any disruption in the processing of your dental claims on November 1, 2024, you must ensure that the information provided during positive enrolment is accurate and complete.
