Call for donations for the GCWCC online auction

Hello everyone,

We are excited to announce that the silent online auction as part of the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign (GCWCC) is back this year. The event will take place during the week of November 20. It’s a wonderful opportunity to support our mission while fostering team spirit.

In previous years, we relied on the generosity of the PCX community to prepare gift baskets for this event. This year, we are excited to invite all Parks Canada team members to contribute if they wish! We understand that not everyone can provide monetary or time donations, but surely many have well-maintained electronics or sports/camping equipment they no longer need, or unused gift cards from stores they don’t visit. The Parks Canada team is also full of talented people who could offer a ski lesson, a personalized artistic creation, or a secret recipe!

Whether it's an item, experience, or service, every contribution counts and is greatly appreciated. After all, as the saying goes, one person’s unwanted item is another’s treasure!

If you wish to participate, please contact us at ccmtgc-gcwcc@pc.gc.ca by November 15. Our team will help coordinate the distribution of donations.
