Invitation to the 2024 CEO Awards of Excellence ceremony

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to invite you to the 2024 CEO Awards of Excellence ceremony. Please mark your calendars now and join us on Friday, June 7, to discover and celebrate this year’s recipients. 

We have received a record number of nominations, recognizing the outstanding contributions of more than 600 team members. Your dedication and passion in advancing Parks Canada’s mission and vision continue to inspire us all. I thank all the nominators for taking the time to acknowledge the exceptional efforts of teammates and partners.

In line with our commitment to innovation and accessibility, the ceremony will be presented in a hybrid format, combining in-person attendance and a virtual broadcast.

  • In-person: If you are in the National Capital Region, we invite you to join us at 1:00 p.m. (EDT) at the theatre of the Canadian Museum of History, 100 Laurier Street, Gatineau. *Attendees who want access to ASL/QSL interpretation during the ceremony must bring a smartphone/tablet, as these will not be provided on-site. To access simultaneous translation, attendees must also bring their headphones. 
  • Online: The ceremony will be broadcast live at 1:30 p.m. (EDT) and will include simultaneous translation and interpretation.
